I am pleased to this letter of recommendation for Cassidy Hoff. Cassidy is currently in her senior year at Stockton University, finishing a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work with a Minor in Jewish Studies. Cassidy is a hard-working and upbeat young woman who easily empathizes with those who have known struggle or hardship. I am confident she will contribute in a meaningful way to any organization or agency and delight her co-workers and supervisors with her easy-going personality and strong work ethic.
Cassidy was in my Critical Thinking freshman seminar in the fall of 2017. Our course theme was American Stories, and the students were encouraged to tell their stories and, perhaps more important, listen to others’ journeys. Cassidy’s journey has been difficult at times, hampered by health issues and a childhood marred by trauma and grief. Still, Cassidy was always upbeat, quoting the Grateful Dead, and eager to show empathy and understanding to other students. She befriended a shy student who was on the autism spectrum, including her in lunch plans and group work. Cassidy’s natural kindness was on display at all times.
Besides serving as Cassidy’s professor, I have been her academic advisor since her freshman year. It’s been a privilege to watch her mature. Cassidy majored in Social Work with a Minor in Jewish Studies. Her interest in Jewish Studies has grown under the tutelage of Professor Marcia Fiedler, who often made connections between social justice and the concept of the mitzvah, or acts of kindness extended to our brothers and sisters. Cassidy was not raised Jewish, nor is she likely to convert, but she is interested in learning and adopting ways of living consistent with that of a mensch.
I recommend Cassidy Hoff with a happy heart.

In the time that I have known Cassidy Hoff, she has shown nothing but pure motivation and willingness to work hard toward her goals. She has exhibited relentless perseverance, even through tough times she has endured along the way. Despite going through good and bad times, Cassidy has always come out on the other side with a smile on her face and the strength to power through. Even when she hits a rough patch, her work ethic and optimism are definitely prioritized to her and she does not let the bad times get her down, specifically the difficulties 2020 has brought on.
Cassidy shines with happiness and a positive attitude that is infectious, and it is evident throughout the workplace, or any environment for that matter. Her wittiness and lighthearted outlook are evident upon the first impression of her. Cassidy loves to make others smile, and tries her hardest to ensure that everyone who approaches her leaves with a happier attitude. I can say that from personal experience, working with her has been a pure delight, to say the least. She makes the daunting work environment a light and happy area to be in.
In terms of work ethic, Cassidy exudes a hardworking attitude toward any job she is confronted with. She puts one hundred percent of effort into everything put in front of her and does not quit until it is completed. She has a lot of gumption, which is clearly seen in her work, whether it be excelling in school or a job outside of the classroom. Cassidy puts her all into whatever she is faced with, and does not stop until the job is done and she is satisfied. Her personality and effort are greatly reflected in the work she produces.

Cassidy has been with Four Quarters since June 3, 2020. She works as the receptionist and administrative assistant. She has learned to organize and enter the accounts payable invoices into the accounting system. She opens the mail, files, and does many other necessary administrative duties.
Cassidy is an asset to Four Quarters. She is a quick learner. She helps out with anything we need with no complaint and takes on new tasks with enthusiasm. Her attendance has been exceptional.
