Overwhelmed. This is how I have been feeling this past week since classes started back up again. Between classes, my job, waiting to see if i am accepted as an intern has all been tearing me thin. Not going to lie, when I started my Wednesday night class with my new Professor, Mr Calderwood, I wasn't sure if it was the right fit for me. We were given a lot of information and it was hard to process it all at the speed he was giving it. But, I breathed. I took a few minutes out and went through my brain and asked myself "Ok. What did he say about this?" I wrote the answer down. "How will we meet for class, zoom or Teams?" I wrote the answer to that down. Racking through my brain and really going through everything we went over helped smooth out the uneven directions in my head. We were given links to different articles for our first assignment to read through. The topics were about Twitter and the many uses of it, and why it can be used in a positive way, and how it can be used as a teaching outlet. My personal twitter is basically an open book of my life. I see funny stuff and I retweet it, I rant, and I connect with people who have the same interests as me. For example, I met my friend Justin through twitter. We've never met in person, but he is a very close friend of mine who I met through my twitter because I posted a meme about Post Malone that went viral. If I didn't post it, do you think we'd be friends? Although the YouTube link to "Connect to the world using Twitter" didn't work, I still wanted to share how I connected to someone using Twitter. I read through the different links to read about blogs and blogging. I follow "social media influencer's" on Instagram. They share products that they were payed to write ads about and review. "Are they bloggers?" I asked myself this before I read the links because I was genuinely curious if they would be considered bloggers. From what I read on the introduction to blogging link, I can safely say that they would be considered bloggers since they are technically writing reviews. This link was my favorite of all because it went into extreme detail when describing all of the details of blogging, and it helped me understand better.

My experiences on my personal Twitter are very positive. If I'm feeling stressed, I scroll through and take my mind off of things and look at memes and funny tweets. My hope is that my professional Twitter will give me the same satisfaction as my personal, even though the professional one is more serious. I am excited to see what Twitter can offer for me in a professional aspect, and I can't wait to see the connections I will begin to make during the semester.
